Shipping Policy

Every candle is carefully handcrafted with attention to detail and quality. Please review our shipping policy before placing your order.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship throughout the United States.

International shipping may be available for selected products and destinations. Availability depends on shipping regulations, customs requirements, carrier availability, and destination country restrictions.

Shipping Rates

We do not offer free shipping.

Shipping costs are calculated individually for every order based on:

  • package weight;
  • package dimensions;
  • destination;
  • shipping carrier rates;
  • selected shipping service.

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout.

Order Processing

Ready-to-Ship Products

Ready-to-ship products are normally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received.

Custom Orders

Custom, personalized, wedding, corporate, memorial, and other made-to-order candles require an individual consultation before production begins.

Production starts only after:

  • all order details have been finalized;
  • the customer has approved the project;
  • a signed agreement has been received (if applicable);
  • a 50% non-refundable deposit has been paid.

The consultation process is not included in the production timeline.

Production Timeline

The minimum production period for custom orders starts from two (2) weeks after final approval of the project and receipt of the required deposit.

This is the minimum estimated production period.

Actual production time may be longer depending on:

  • project complexity;
  • quantity ordered;
  • material availability;
  • seasonal demand;
  • production schedule;
  • requested revisions;
  • customer-requested changes.

Customer Delays

Production schedules depend on timely communication.

If the customer delays:

  • responding;
  • approving designs;
  • making decisions;
  • providing required information;
  • confirming artwork;
  • confirming personalization;
  • confirming shipping details;

the estimated production and shipping schedule may be adjusted accordingly.

Changes to Orders

Changes requested after production has started may require:

  • additional production time;
  • revised delivery dates;
  • additional charges.

Changes may include:

  • fragrance;
  • color;
  • personalization;
  • quantity;
  • packaging;
  • shipping address;
  • delivery method;
  • other project specifications.

Candle Curing

All candles are handcrafted using professional candle-making standards.

After production, every candle undergoes a curing period of approximately 10–14 days.

Although candles may technically be burned immediately after production, Sofia P. Candle and Art Boutique follows professional manufacturing practices that allow the wax and fragrance to fully stabilize before shipment.

The curing period forms part of the production schedule.

Final Payment

The remaining balance for custom orders must be paid no later than three (3) business days before the scheduled shipping date.

Orders will not be shipped until payment has been received in full.

Failure to complete the final payment on time may result in:

  • postponed shipment;
  • revised delivery schedule;
  • delayed release of the order.

Sofia P. Candle and Art Boutique reserves the right to postpone shipment until full payment has been received and confirmed.

Shipping Confirmation

Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email once the order has been shipped.

When available, tracking information will be provided.

Tracking updates depend on the shipping carrier and may not appear immediately after shipment.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery times are estimates provided by the shipping carrier.

We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

Shipping delays may occur due to:

  • weather conditions;
  • customs inspections;
  • carrier delays;
  • holidays;
  • incorrect shipping information;
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

If incorrect shipping information is provided, shipment may be delayed and additional shipping charges may apply.

Address changes requested after shipment cannot be guaranteed.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for:

  • customs duties;
  • import taxes;
  • brokerage fees;
  • local government charges;
  • other import-related costs.

These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, responsibility for transportation rests with the carrier.

If tracking indicates that a package has been delivered but cannot be located, customers should first contact the shipping carrier.

Sofia P. Candle and Art Boutique is not responsible for packages that have been marked as delivered by the carrier.
